New starters are eligible to participate from the first complete sales cycle on territory after completing their training.
Leavers, even if they had been selected for the Gilead Top Performers Award, will not be eligible for the Award if they are not employed by Gilead as at the date of the award trip; and the Regional Leadership Team may in such circumstances select another Therapeutic Specialist or Cell Therapy Account Manager in their place, provided they qualify under the applicable criteria.
If an employee who is awarded a Gilead Top Performers Award is subject to any disciplinary proceedings at any time between the announcement of the Gilead Top Performers Award and the date of the award trip, they will not be entitled to take up the award. The Regional Leadership Team may in such circumstances select another Therapeutic Specialist or Cell Therapy Account Manager in their place, provided they qualify under the applicable criteria.
In cases where the award is disputed, the final decision will be taken through a thorough peer review to select the winners based on criteria agreed.
Winners are expected to attend the Gilead Top Performers Trip and must share a room with their guest (twin rooms can be arranged if required).
Guests joining winners on the Gilead Top Performers Trip must be aged 18 or older.
Winners are not permitted to bring another team member or fellow Gilead employee on the Award Trip unless they are their partner.
This scheme does not constitute a contract, offer or promise of reward and the Gilead Top Performers Award remains subject to the reasonable discretion of the ACE Leadership Team.
Any payments made to an employee under the scheme will be subject to statutory deductions and will not form part of the overall salary for the purpose of pension calculations.
This scheme is discretionary and as such Gilead reserves the right to modify, adapt, fully replace or withdraw the Gilead Top Performers scheme at any time.
The scheme and these rules are subject to be construed in accordance with, local law and in accordance with the employee’s contract of employment.
